Every Alpha evening is designed to be welcoming, relaxed, and pressure-free.

First, you'll be warmly welcomed as you arrive and invited to enjoy a delicious dinner—completely free of charge. It's a chance to meet new people, catch up with familiar faces, and simply enjoy good food together.

Next, we'll watch a short, engaging video that introduces the evening's topic and explores one of life's big questions from a Christian perspective.

Then comes the conversation. Around the table, everyone is invited to share their thoughts, ask honest questions, and hear different perspectives. There are no "wrong" questions, no pressure to speak, and no expectation that you have everything figured out. Whether you join the discussion or simply listen, you're welcome just as you are.

Alpha is for anyone who's curious. Whether you've been following Jesus for years, walked away from church long ago, or aren't even sure what you believe, you're welcome here.

You don't need to know anything about the Bible. You don't need to have your life together. You don't need to be a member of Northgate Church—or know a single person before you walk through the doors.

Wherever you are in life, whatever questions you're carrying, there's a place for you at the table.

Whether you've never been to church, grew up in church but have questions, come from another faith background, or aren't sure what you believe, you're invited. There's no expectation that you'll have the answers—or even agree with everything you hear.

We've got you covered! Childcare is available at no cost during our morning and evening Alpha sessions, so you can relax and fully enjoy the experience.

Your children will be cared for by our trained, trusted children's ministry team. Every volunteer has been carefully screened and equipped to provide a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where kids can learn and play while you're at Alpha.

We love caring for families, and we're excited to welcome yours.

From dinner to childcare, every part of the Alpha experience is provided at no cost to you. It's our gift to the community, made possible by the generosity of the people of Northgate Church.

We believe everyone should have a welcoming, pressure-free place to explore life's biggest questions, build meaningful relationships, and discover more about faith—without cost ever being a barrier.

We'd love for you to be at every session because each week builds on the conversations and relationships from the week before. But we also know that life happens.

If you need to miss a session or two, don't worry. Alpha is flexible, and you're always welcome to jump back in when your schedule allows.

The most important thing is that you keep coming back. We'll save you a seat.
