NEW CAST MEMBERS
What makes workplace sitcoms so loveable? So addicting? So binge worthy?
Perhaps it’s because we can all relate to a bit of office drama, heavy work loads, Monday blues, or ridiculous conflicts-like trying to figure out who keeps microwaving smelly leftovers in the break room.
Maybe it’s because they’re only twenty minutes long and require little of our attention span.
More likely though, our affinity for these workplace shows is the cast of amazing characters, all with their unique talents, personalities, and passions.
We think of Ron Swanson and Leslie Knope from Parks and Recreation.
Sam and Diane from Cheers.
Dwight and Jim from The Office.
They are all so silly, fun, quirky, and completely irreplaceable. We fall in love with them and continue to tune in week after week to revel in their larger-than-life personalities.
And it’s with that same sentiment in mind we announce that Northgate has recently added two new staff people to it’s cast of characters!
Please welcome Kristina Sadowski and Cate Ongoro to the Northgate team; two very fun and unique women who you’ll fall in love with and who totally bless our “set.”
Kristina is a mom of two and wife to Patrick. She’s shy, she’s cute, and she’s a total clean-freak. When she’s not leading as the Coordinator of Building Services at Northgate or with her independently owned cleaning biz, she enjoys baking, crafting, and writing--sometimes even dabbling in poetry. She’s thrilled to be on staff because Northgate is quickly becoming her family.
Cate joins us as a support-staff to Kristina. She’s a mom to twin boys, and wife to David. Her greatest passion is with her non-profit ministry, Cate’s Hope, that helps disabled children in Kenya get food and wheelchairs and learn about God’s love. It’s a pretty big operation! They are currently serving over 300 children. What Cate loves most about Northgate is how welcoming our community is, how she felt a sense of belonging from the first time she came through the doors.
Kristina and Cate will carry the torch of former Facilities Director, Sue Anderson , but that doesn’t mean she’s leaving the show. Not by a long shot. While Sue’s days of taking out trash and salting church sidewalks have come to a close, she’s maintaining her full-time property management gig at a neighboring apartment while increasing her capacity for ministry right here at Northgate as part of our GROW group. GROW is a discipleship program that takes high-potential church leaders and develops their scope of ministry over the course of a two-year commitment. Some of the things we love most about this lady are her love for Jesus, candid humor, and her listening ear--all qualities she will continue to develop for ministry with us here. Sue is ready to increase her territory, spread the gospel message, and show the love of Jesus in our community.
“Stay tuned” to see what God does through these three amazing ladies and bless them as they begin their new adventures!
